A regular contender for Bluestorm’s ‘So Happy it Makes us Sick’ award, Leanne has overcome many obstacles in her life. Armed only with an infectious smile, she has become an inspiration to us all. Here we find out a bit more about our little ‘Wray’ of sunshine …
Childhood:
Raised in ‘Orchard’, a shanty town on the outskirts of the city, she lived in a series of improvised dwellings without proper sanitation, decent food (they don’t have a Greggs) and the man who would fight for her honour.
Love:
It was love at first sight when she met current husband, Tim. On their very first date, she stole his heart, credit cards and a soap dispenser from the toilet.
Hobbies:
A ‘wow’ in the kitchen and avid rugby fan, she once combined both interests, inviting the Hull FC team to tuck into her battered onion rings before presenting them with some of her crusty bloomers.
Party trick:
With one arm approximately one foot longer than the other, Leanne is incapable of climbing a high wall without completing a full circle.
In a nutshell
Extremely positive head of the accounts team who ensures that whatever is needed is done efficiently with great accuracy and a smile.
