Hornsea Freeport and Bluestorm celebrate successful year in partnership
Hornsea Freeport and Bluestorm, East Yorkshire’s largest full service marketing agency are celebrating a successful first year working together after significant increases in both sales and visitors to the shopping outlet.
Bluestorm were appointed to help raise the profile of the centre in July 2010, as it was failing to attract enough visitors. Since then, Bluestorm has provided an integrated marketing campaign which has included PR, advertising, event management, a new website and social media.
As a result of this activity, sales at the shopping outlet for 2011 are 21% up on 2010’s figures, with visitor numbers also up by 19%.
Hornsea Freeport has also added 7 shops to the outlet since the beginning of the year, including the Nike factory store, Cotton Traders and Eliza’s Closet. In addition, the centre has expanded its leisure offering and created a climbing wall.
