Bluestorm takes gold in PR awards
Bluestorm has picked up another award in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards.
We scooped the gold award in the Integrated Communications category, for our work promoting GreenPalm, the certificate trading programme that is helping the palm oil industry to become more sustainable.
The campaign is a true team effort, with every department at Bluestorm playing an important part, from web design, production and advertising to graphic design, public relations and our social media specialists.
Of course, none of this success would have been possible without our clients: GreenPalm and its parent company AAK UK. They showed great confidence in us and were prepared to give us scope to try different and innovative ways of communicating complex messages, including face-to-face meetings, blogs and social media.
The CIPR judges had this to say …
“This entry stood out because of the difficulty of the communications challenge. Not only did Bluestorm have to persuade food manufacturers and retailers to own up to their use of palm oil, they also had to encourage them to actively support the sustainable palm oil campaign and take part in the certificate trading programme.
“Despite an initial false start, their use of a beautifully designed and integrated campaign succeeded in shifting perceptions and generating action, with many high street names committed to the cause. A very difficult task creatively executed.”
This is our second consecutive CIPR PRide gold award, as last year we took the gold for Best Use of Media Relations for our Holland’s Pies campaign. As we were up against many impressive campaigns from agencies throughout the large region of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, we’re thrilled that our hard work has again been recognised in this way.
