A new calendar is so next year
Ah, the good old fashioned calendar. Whether it hangs on the fridge, sits next to the phone or on a desk at work, we all have one, and despite the increasingly digital world we live in, it appears that they’re here to stay.
According to a recent article featured on the BBC news website, the traditional calendar remains as popular as ever, and if businesses are well-prepared for the year ahead, they can use this continuing trend to their advantage and create a low-cost and highly effective promotional tool.
A calendar is a great visual way to project a brand’s image, but don’t think small. The days of having twelve generic images of a business are long gone. Companies need to get creative and put some thought into creating a memorable calendar which will help to promote the business throughout the year.
Do you know when your promotional events are over the next 12 months? Get them on the calendar. Make them bold, circle them in red, and people will know exactly when and where events will be taking place.
A calendar is also a fantastic way to achieve repeat business. For each month, businesses can have a detachable voucher or highlight when a sale will take place, continually enticing people to make further purchases.
Sending out calendars as a corporate Christmas gift is also a firm favourite, and very effective. Not only are they a useful, practical and well-received business gift, they can also be used to increase brand awareness amongst your customers, throughout the whole year.
